Per the update, the North Carolina Industrial Hemp Commission granted the licenses to the company’s newly formed subsidiary, Coastal Labs North Carolina LLC. The Food and Drug Division of the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services provides guidance regarding the manufacture and sale of products that contain CBD. In addition, Green Hygienics North Carolina LLC, the company’s second subsidiary in the state, will be partnering for cultivation this year with the intention of meeting the earnings qualification to be licensed on its own for next year’s cultivation.
