Two well-known clothing brands, Levi’s and Outerknown, have teamed up to make cottonized hemp denim that is stronger than cotton yet softer than plain hemp. This new material was debuted in March and the perfected version in the famous “true blue” denim was unveiled on Monday. An unexpected federal court ruling declining to order Idaho to release a shipment of hemp that officers seized back in January has left the industry concerned, but businesses have vowed to continue shipping hemp to various states. Alabama Hemp Farmers on Course as Plants Pass THC Test

So far, the samples of hemp tested by state inspectors have passed the THC test since they are all within the 0.3 limit set by federal and state law. This is the first crop of hemp that is being grown in the state from 1937 when the last hemp farm closed. According to a report published by Vote Hemp, an advocacy group, the land area on which farmers in the U.S. have been licensed to grow industrial hemp has more than quadrupled in 2019. The board of regents at New Mexico State University have approved the hemp industry draft rules formulated by the New Mexico Department of Agriculture. The Largest Hemp Processing Facility in the US Opens in Colorado

Colorado City in Southern Colorado will soon be host to the largest hemp processing facility in the U.S. when a facility set up by Paragon Processing starts operating. Thai Authorities OK Hemp Use in Food, Cosmetics and Herbal Products

Hemp and its different derivatives can now be used in cosmetics, food and herbal products in Thailand after the authorities there relaxed the restrictions on these products.
