VW Announces Project to Replace Leather Car Interior Materials with Hemp Alternatives

Earlier this week, Volkswagen announced that it would be working with Revoltech GmbH to produce a leather alternative for its vehicles. Revoltech manufactures leather from hemp, making its products 100% plant-based, as well as plastic free and sustainable. Last month, Governor Mike Parson of Missouri signed an executive order that would remove all THC drinks and edibles derived from hemp from shelves and impose penalties on any establishment that continued to sell them.
