The Naklo Foundation, based in Poland, has re-launched its B2B hemp marketplace in order to facilitate business between different actors within the hemp value chain.
HempTrade, the trading platform created by Naklo Foundation, is open to both white label and branded hemp product wholesalers and bulk raw materials sellers. Such platforms are important at this time when the industry is still relatively young and industry actors are looking for trusted partners to work with.
HempTrade has vowed to conduct a thorough due diligence process on all vendors that register to participate on its platform. This verification process is especially important for actors in the CBD space because the huge market for CBD products has led some people to think that selling CBD products is a sure way to get rich quick.
The verification process will therefore help to identify actors who have products of high quality and they back up those products with excellent customer service. HempTrade has opted to take the cautious approach and slowly expand the listings while paying attention to the reputation of the sellers who join the platform.
It is also noteworthy that the platform is featuring other products within the hemp space. For example, there is a skateboard and a guitar made from hemp plastic. Hemp shampoos and soaps, building materials and lingerie made from hemp are also on offer. These additional items highlight the broad range of products that can be made from hemp.
You may be wondering whether the platform will cut a slice from the earnings that companies who list earn through the platform, but HempTrade has clarified that they don’t plan to take a commission off the sales conducted through the platform.
Instead, industry actors who opt to join the platform will pay a fee that will enable them to be listed on the platform for one year. The businesses that sign up will also enjoy the benefit of being featured on the different media outlets and publications of Naklo Foundation.
